Our HCCAR team and the American Academy of Pediatrics do not recommend the use of essential oils in early care and school settings for several reasons:  they trigger asthma and allergy symptoms in some children and staff, and there is a high risk for ingestion.  For children, if it smells good, they think it must be good to drink.  The CPSC recently recalled this product, as it is not child resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.  If you enjoy essential oils in your home, check to make sure you don't have this one.
